Season
A season is a date-bounded container that groups multiple shows together. Points and standings accumulate across all shows within a season, giving you end-of-season rankings for each organization.
Why Seasons Matter
Seasons provide the boundary for calculating rider standings. When you view points and standings, those calculations roll up every show result within the selected season. Seasons also determine rider age eligibility - a rider’s age can be calculated as of the season start date (see Event Format for age calculation settings).
Settings
Name
A descriptive label for the season (e.g., “2026 Spring Series” or “IBRA 2026”).
Season Start Date
The earliest date a show can be scheduled within this season. This date also serves as the reference point for calculating competitor ages when the event format uses the “Start of Season” age calculation method.
Season End Date
The latest date a show can be scheduled within this season. Shows must fall between the start and end dates to belong to the season.
Series
A season can optionally contain series - sub-groupings of shows. Series let you organize shows within a season into smaller collections, such as a monthly series or a regional circuit, while still keeping everything under one season umbrella.
Workflow
- Navigate to the Seasons tab
- Click the add button to create a new season
- Enter a name and select your start and end dates
- Once created, you can create shows within the season
You can have multiple seasons active at the same time. This is useful if you produce events for different organizations with overlapping date ranges.
